Server

The idea for the Server Side Tools evolved out of the Client Tools.  Initially, all that mattered was an installer that didn’t involve developer tools, ./configure; make; make install; and all the other developer friendly, consumer unfriendly command line skills.  As time progressed, the need for user friendly tools to manage PostgreSQL at the server level became more obvious.  That’s where this side comes into play.  Most of this is in the planning stages, but has become more and more important as users have started playing with the distribution.
